Project Backpack is a non-profit organization. This means we need help from our community to keep delivering these life changing backpacks to childeren in need. We continue to raise our goals each month to extend our reach in St. Louis and help as many displaced childeren as possible. There are 2 main ways you can help us reach our goals: 

Donate Time

Become a Volunteer and join our Backpack Brigade! 
Donate the gift of your time. Set up time to come to our warehouse and help us out. There's lots to do! Help us pack backpacks, with administrative tasks, pick up items, and more.

​We welcome individuals, employer groups, social groups, church/temple/mosque groups, community service groups, school groups, brownies, scouts, groups of friends and families. We feel strongly about exposing kids to community service and giving back! We think of it as kids helping kids. Children as young as 6 are welcome at our warehouse, with appropriate adult supervision. 

We also welcome individuals needing to fulfill community service hours, and are happy to certify the hours spent helping Project Backpack.

Donate Money

We need monetary donations to keep our operation running! You can write a tax-deductable check payable to Project Backpack and send it to us at our office location- 1138 North Warson Road, Suite 218, Saint Louis, Missouri 63132.
