Our community partners - key to backpack success!

​The Backpack PALS (Partners Assisting Love and Success) community consists of

• Police Departments throughout the St. Louis area,
• Departments of Family Services and
• Other tax-exempt organizations that interact with kids who have been removed from their homes in cases of domestic violence, abuse, homelessness, natural disaster, and other similar situations, either at the time the child is removed or soon thereafter.  Project Backpack and our wonderful volunteers do the packing and then rely on our PALS to make sure each backpack is delivered to a child in crisis--in order to create a small bright spot in a time of overwhelming stress.

In 2018, Project Backpack partnered with our PALS to give backpacks to almost 2,500 children.  Our goal is to double that number in 2019, so get your orders in now to ensure timely delivery.
